The options were all poor: pay an agency thousands, settle for a generic site that looks like everyone else's, or use one of the build-it-yourself platforms, which are fiddlier than the adverts suggest and keep nudging you towards paid upgrades. None of them sat right, so I learned to build them properly myself.

Every build starts from one of my trade demos and is shaped case by case: colours, wording and sensible layout tweaks are included, and if you want something structurally different, I'll quote it as bespoke. Most sole traders just need one clean page: who you are, what you do, your reviews linked straight to Google, a few testimonials, and an easy way to get hold of you. That's the standard build. If you want something bigger, I do bespoke too.
